Chennai Super Kings () is one of the most successful teams in the Indian Premier League. The five-time winner is known for backing their experienced players but they also scout some amazing young talents who later shine for the Indian team. The prime examples are the captain of CSK, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and one of the finest Indian fast bowlers, Deepak Chahar.

These players came to the franchise when they were uncapped but now they are pretty successful in the IPL and also for the Indian team. As the IPL 2025 season comes closer, here are three uncapped players who might make their debut for Chennai Super Kings this season.

Andre Siddarth

The 18-year-old promising young talent Andre Siddarth was recently signed by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Recently, he made headlines after smashing an amazing century in the Ranji Trophy match against Chandigarh.

While batting, he displayed his amazing talent; he came in at number six and scored 106 runs off 143 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes in his knock.

In this inning, he showed his ability to handle pressure through power-hitting, which proves that he will be a future star for CSK and Indian cricket.

Ramakrishna Ghosh

Chennai Super Kings Management brought this 27-year-old batting all-rounder for ₹30 lakh during the IPL 2025 mega auction. His recent inning against Baroda in the Ranji Trophy match was a memorable performance. In that match, we witnessed an outstanding all-round performance by him. Ramakrishna scored 99 runs in the second inning and also took a total of 4 wickets in that match.

He has played six first-class matches in which he has scored 313 runs with an average of 39. He also picked up 11 wickets with two half-centuries. The fact that he can contribute to the team both with bat and ball makes him a very good asset for Chennai Super Kings in the coming season.

Gurjapneet Singh

CSK brought this left-arm pacer Gurjapneet Singh for Rs. 2.2 crore, which is far more than his base price of 30 lakhs. He showed his talent in first-class cricket after playing four first-class matches and taking 13 wickets. 6 wickets by just 22 runs in the match against Saurashtra is his best performance till now. He also played 5 T20 matches where he took 9 wickets. He could be a good option for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.

IPL 2025 is set to be a great year for these three uncapped gems—Andre Siddarth, Ramakrishna Ghosh, and Gurjapneet Singh. If the CSK team is given the opportunity, they could make a significant impact and continue CSK’s legacy of producing future stars.
