One thing about the Mumbai Indians that makes them different from other franchises is their brilliant talent scout team. Mumbai invested in its talent scout team, which produced brilliant results, in the form of the likes of Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Krunal Pandya, and many more.

We remember that time when these star players came to the Mumbai Indians team as uncapped players, and now they are superstars in the cricketing world. The Mumbai Indians scout team searches for talented players and work on them to make them big names in world cricket, such as Bumrah and Pandya.

We are here to discuss which three uncapped players can become superstars after Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah from the Mumbai Indians squad in IPL 2025.

KL Shrijith

KL Shrijith is a wicketkeeper-batter from Bangalore, Karnataka. Mumbai Indians added this new talent to their team for 30 lacs. He has played ‌8 List-A matches where he has scored 246 runs, with an average of 41. Recently, he scored a brilliant 150* in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Shreyas Iyer lead Mumbai.

Karnataka achieved the challenging task of chasing down a target of 383 runs because of Shrijith’s innings. His ability to score big runs opens doors for him in the IPL. The 28-years-old has played 17 T20 matches since making debut in 2021 and has scored 393 runs with a strike rate of 146.6. No doubt he is very talented and could make his debut as wicketkeeper batter for Mumbai Indians.

Robin Minz

Robin is a left-handed wicketkeeper-batter from Jharkhand. Mumbai Indians bought him in the IPL auction for the price of 65 lacs. Last year, Gujarat Titans bought him for IPL 2024, but because of an unfortunate accident, he was ruled out of IPL 2024. But now he is ready for IPL 2025 to show his ability and skills.

Recently, he scored 36 runs in 12 balls against Manipur in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Robin’s a big MS Dhoni fan, and people call him Jharkhand’s ‘Next Chris Gayle’. He is undoubtedly talented, and he is eager to perform in IPL 2025.

Vignesh Puthur

Vignesh is a fresh addition to the Mumbai Indians’ squad. This 23-year-old left-arm wrist spinner, also known as chinaman bowler, comes from Kerala. He came into limelight when he performed exceptionally well in the Kerala College Premier League T20 championship. Where he took 15 wickets in 8 innings with best bowling figures of 10-5 (4).

After that tournament, he got a chance to play for the Alleppey Ripples team in the Kerala Cricket League. He got 2 wickets in 3 innings, but because of his brilliant bowling, he was successful in attracting IPL scout teams. As a result, the Mumbai Indians team bought him for IPL 2025. Given how highly rated chinaman bowlers are, don’t be surprised if Vignesh makes his debut in IPL 2025.
