Are LSG’s Mayank Yadav and RCB’s Shreyanka Patil Dating?

The Women’s Premier League (WPL) action on the field has been thrilling so far. However, the headlines from yesterday has been the duo of IPL franchise LSG’s Mayank Yadav and RCB Women’s team’s Shreyanka Patil were seen together in a stand, since when rumours have started circulating about them dating together.

The match number 7 of the ongoing Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season was played between the hosts Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Women and the Mumbai Indians (MI) Women on 21st February, 2025.

While Mumbai Indians beat the defending champions, the headline of the day was when the duo of Lucknow Super Giants pacer Mayank Yadav and RCB Women’s team’s Shreyanka Patil were seen together at a stand.

Since this, many have been speculating whether the duo are dating each other. Well, actually they are not dating, but rather, the truth is, both the players are currently recovering from their respective injury at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. It was just the case of the two catching the match together.

Mayank Yadav is touted as India’s next big pace bowler who is capable of bowling 150+ KMPH on a regular basis. But he has covering from a back injury since the October 2024. Meanwhile, Shreyanka Patil was supposed to be part of the RCB team in the WPL 2025 but she was ruled out after she suffered a shin injury prior to the season start.

Meanwhile, the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Women fumbled for the first time in the WPL 2025 season against the Mumbai Indians in their previous match.

It was a difficult outing with the bat for RCB that was rescued by veteran Ellyse Perry with her wonderful 81 runs inning off 43 balls. However, it wasn’t enough as Harmanpreet Kaur, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Amanjot Kaur helped the Mumbai Indians pick-up the win.
