BBL Star Joins Australia’s Squad for Semi-Final Clash Against India

Australia was forced to change their squad before the semi-final clash against India. Australia’s batting all-rounder Matthew Short was ruled out due to injury, and Cooper Connolly will replace Short ahead of the semi-final. The 21-year-old BBL star, known for his all-round abilities, will be a good option for Australia’s squad for the semi-final.

Matthew Short’s injury is a major setback for the Australian team. Short was the regular starter for the Australian team in the Champions Trophy. He scored a half-century in their first match in the Champions Trophy against England and also gave a good start against Afghanistan. The 21-year-old BBL star Cooper Connolly was a part of the Australia reserve squad for the tournament, and he traveled with the team and now officially joined Australia’s squad for the semi-final.
