The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 edition is in the headline once again, this time during the match-up between the Multan Sultans and the Islamabad United at the Multan Cricket Stadium when Colin Munro accused Multan’s all-rounder Iftikhar Ahmad for chucking during the match.

Islamabad United’s Colin Munro and Multan Sultans Iftikhar Ahmad had an intense face-off during PSL 2025 match on Wednesday when the former complained against the latter for chucking.

It was during the 9.3 over of the 2nd inning when Islamabad United’s batter Colin Munro digged a ball out of the blockhole and then complained the Multan Sultans all-rounder for chucking. Which in-turn made Iftikhar furious and both shared fierce words. Both the umpires had to intervene and calm down both the players and explain it to all the players. Watch the video below.

Islamabad United won by 7 wickets

Meanwhile, Islamabad United walked-out victories in this match as they won by 7 wickets against the Multan Sultans. United first restricted the Multan Sultans for 168 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.

It was an easy chase in the end for the visitors. Andries Gous was the hero with the bat for the Islamabad United as the USA opening batter scored 80 runs off 45 balls and remained unbeaten. Colin Munro also played a significant role with his contribution of 45 runs off 28 balls as the Islamabad United won the match by 7 wickets with still more than 2 overs of play left.

Earlier, riding on Usman Khan’s 61 runs coupled with Mohammed Rizwan’s 36 off 37 balls and Yasir Khan’s 29 runs off 17 balls allowed the Multan Sultans to post 168 runs with Riley Meredith, Jason Holder, Mohammad Nawaz and Shadab Khan all picked 1 wicket each for the Islamabad United.
