Home of Cricket Lord’s Set to Host India vs England Women’s Test Match in 2025

In 2026, India will make history by playing their first-ever women’s Test match at Lord’s in London, one of the most iconic venues in cricket. Known as the “Home of Cricket,” Lord’s has hosted some of the sport’s most prestigious events, including World Cup finals and legendary Test matches, but this will mark the first time it hosts a women’s Test match. For India, this will be their first Test match in England since 2021.
Before the historic Test in 2026, India will tour the UK in 2025 for a series of eight white-ball matches against England, including five T20Is and three ODIs, scheduled for June and July.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed the news, stating, “India Women will return in 2026 for a one-off Test match at Lord’s – the first-ever Women’s Test to be staged at the Home of Cricket. Although England Women have played white-ball matches at Lord’s over the past three years, and another is planned for next year, this will be the ground’s debut as a host for a Women’s Test match.”
Indian Men’s Team Test Schedule For England Unveiled
Meanwhile, cricket fans can look upto a number of interesting India vs England cricket action in 2025. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have most recently announced the schedule for the 5 match Test series to be played in the Summer 2025 between the England and India men’s teams. Prior to that, it will be the English side who will tour India for 8 matches white ball series starting in January 2025.

The following matches will be played in Birmingham, Lord’s in London, Manchester and then we return to London again, this time at the Kennington Oval on the other side of the city.
