Harbhajan Singh had strongly criticized Akmal for his comments, expressing his anger and disappointment. “Shame on you, Kamran Akmal… You should understand the history of Sikhs before speaking so disrespectfully. We Sikhs protected your mothers and sisters when they were taken by invaders, often at midnight. Have some gratitude,” Harbhajan wrote on X.
