ICC Confirms Dates and Venues for 2025 Women’s Cricket World Cup

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has today officially announced the dates and venues for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. ICC made this official announcement today through their social media and website.
The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup is the 50-over World Cup of Women’s cricket. The tournament will jointly be hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
Today, the ICC has officially revealed that the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 edition tournament will be held from 30 September, 2025 until 2nd November, 2025.
A total of 31 matches between 8 teams will be held across 5 different venues in India and Sri Lanka. M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, ACA Stadium Guwahati, Holkar Stadium in Indore, ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam will be venues in India. Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium will be the only venue from Sri Lanka where the matches will be played.
ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Semi-Final and Final Date and Venue
ICC has also today revealed that the semi-finals and the final match of the Women’s World Cup will be played on 29 and 30 October with the final match schedule on November 2 on Sunday.
The semi-final 1 match will either be held in Guwahati or Colombo, depending on Pakistan’s qualification. If Pakistan qualifies, then the semi-final 1 will be held in Colombo, if not, then in Guwahati. Meanwhile, the semi-final 2 will be held in Bengaluru on 30 October.
The final match of the ICC Womens Cricket World Cup 2025 meanwhile will be played on November 2 either in Bengaluru or Colombo, depending on Pakistan’s qualification. If Pakistan qualifies, then it will be played in Colombo, if not, then at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The 8 teams who have qualified for the tournament are hosts , Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, England, Pakistan, Bangladesh and South Africa.
The 8 teams will first face each other in the round-robin format. The top 4 teams at the end of the league format will then qualify directly into the semi-finals and the final match.
