Ind vs Eng: The Suryakumar Yadav led Indian cricket team will be out to seal the 5-match T20I series vs England with a third straight win. The 3rd T20I will be played at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. Team India have already won the previous two matches played in Kolkata and Chennai.

The India vs England T20I series has got off to a flying start with the Indian cricket team winning the first two matches really comfortably, with little hiccups in the 2nd T20I in Chennai.

Indian bowlers dominated the England batters in the 1st T20I in Kolkata. Varun Chakravarthy took 3 wickets while Arshdeep Singh, Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel took 2 wickets each. Abhishek Sharma then played the match winning knock with 79 runs inning.

In the 2nd T20I, once again the Indian bowlers were tremendous, managing to restrict the England batter for 165 runs. Chakravarthy and Axar Patel took 2 wickets. Later, it was a batting masterclass from Tilak Varma. Despite the team losing regular wickets, Tilak Varma scored astonishing 72 runs off 55 balls to help Team India win the match and take a 2-0 lead.

The Indian cricket team currently have an edge over the England cricket team in the head-to-head rivalry. After 26 head-to-head matches between the two teams, India have won 15 matches while England have won 11 matches.

Ind vs Eng 3rd T20I Toss Result & Playing XI

The Ind vs Eng 3rd T20I match of the series will be played at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Saurashtra’s Rajkot city. The match will be played on 28th January, from 7 P.M Indian Standard Time (IST).

India captain Suryakumar Yadav has won the toss and opted bowl first again much like the first two matches of the series. Surya also announces the much awaited return of Mohammed Shami, who is taking his place in the playing XI in place of a resting Arshdeep Singh. Jos Buttler meanwhile has announced the same playing 11 for this match.
