The coin has flipped in favour of the New Zealand team captain Tom Latham who has asked the Indian team to bowl first at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Team India has made three changes to its playing XI for the 2nd Test.

The Indian cricket team suffered defeat in the first Test match of the 3 match series. Attention now shifts to Pune where the 2nd Test Match commences from 24th October at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

Toss has happened and it is the New Zealand captain Tom Latham who has won the toss and opted to bat first in Pune. Mitchell Santner has been included in the playing XI for Matt Henry who misses the match due to a niggle.

Team India meanwhile have made three changes in their playing from the first match in Bengaluru. Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav have been excluded while Shubman Gill is back with Akash Deep and Washington Sundar also included in the playing XI.
