The second Super Sunday encounter in IPL 2025 is the season’s biggest contest. On March 23, the Chennai Super Kings () will face the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the El Clasico. The contest will begin at 7:30 p.m. Indian Standard Time (IST) at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.

On the other hand, New Zealand’s wicketkeeper batter Devon Conway could make a pair with him. Last season he did not play any matches but the 2023 IPL season was outstanding for him. He played 15 matches and scored 672 runs with six half-centuries.
Rachin Ravindra at NO. 3

Ravindra Jadeja is one of the best all-rounders in the world. Last season he took 8 wickets and scored 267 runs in 14 matches. He is the backbone of this team with his batting, bowling, and fielding skills.
MS Dhoni, Captain Cool, is not the captain now but his presence in the field is very impactful for the team. Although in the last two seasons, he came very late for batting, he played with a tremendous strike rate. Last season he only scored 161 runs but his strike rate was 220, which was just amazing stats.
R. Ashwin is rejoining this franchise after 2015; his partnership with Jadeja will be very crucial for CSK. Last season he was part of Rajasthan Royals, where he played 15 matches, took 9 wickets, and scored only 86 runs. Hope his homecoming will bring back his prime form.
Bowlers
The young Sri Lankan pacer, Matheesha Pathirana, has been part of CSK for the last three seasons. His bowling skills, especially in the death overs, will be very crucial for CSK. In the last two seasons, he played 18 matches and took 32 wickets.
Khaleel Ahmed is famous for his versatility in bowling. Last season he was with DC where he took 17 wickets in 14 matches.
