Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 GT Confirmed Playing XI vs PBKS

The 18th season of the Indian Premier League, IPL 2025, gets underway with the fifth match between the Gujarat Titans and the Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad beginning at 7:30 p.m. Indian Standard Time (IST).
In 2024, neither team had a successful season. Gujarat Titans finished eighth, and Punjab Kings placed ninth in the IPL 2024 points standings. IPL 2022 winners had a dismal season under Shubman Gill’s captaincy, finishing eighth with five victories.

Gujarat Titans’s captain Shubman Gill and new signing will open for them. Last season he played 12 matches and scored 426 runs with a strike rate of 147, where he scored 1 century and two half centuries.
Buttler is the most expensive buy in the IPL 2025 auction; GT bought him for Rs. 15.75 crore. After spending seven seasons with Rajasthan Royals, he joined GT. Last season he scored 359 runs in 11 innings, where he scored two centuries.
Sai Sudharsan at NO.3
Sai Sudharsan was retained by the GT management in the IPL 2025 auction. Last season was amazing for him; he scored 527 runs in 12 innings, including 1 century and two half-centuries. He will be a great option for No.3.
Middle Order
Shahrukh Khan is known for his aggressive batting; he can accelerate the scoreboard with his power-hitting. Last season he played 7 matches and scored 127 runs with an amazing strike rate of 169; he also managed to score one half-century.
New Zealand’s all-rounder Glenn Phillips is famous for his power-hitting and fielding skills. Last season he did not play any matches but his recent international stats are amazing. He was one of the most important players for New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy. GT fans are hoping that he will continue his form in this year’s IPL also.
Rahul Tewatia is retained by the management in this year’s IPL auction. He is a great power hitter with an amazing strike rate. Last season he played 9 innings and scored 188 runs with a strike rate of 145.
Washington Sundar could be a great all-round option for GT; he was part of SRH in the last three years, but he doesn’t get enough chances for them. His performance was decent with SRH and he is now looking for great success in this team.
Bowlers
Prasidh Krishna is brought by Rs. 9.50 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. He did not play in the IPL for the last two seasons; he played in the IPL in 2022, the last time he took 19 wickets in 17 matches. His recent domestic season was good and hope he will continue his form in the IPL also.
The Afghan mystery spinner Rashid Khan is retained by GT this year. He brought hast experience with him; he has the part of GT for the last three years. Although last year was not well for him, he took only 10 wickets in 12 matches. He is longing for a great comeback this year.
South African pacer Kagiso Rabada joined GT after spending three years in PBKS. Last season he played 11 matches and took 11 wickets. This time he wants more success than his last season.
Mohammad Siraj is the highest-bought bowler for Gujarat Titans; he was bought for Rs. 12.25 crore. He was one of the consistent performers for RCB over the years. Last season he played 14 matches and took 15 wickets.
Impact Player
Mahipal Lomror is a good impact option while chasing the target. He can accelerate the innings with his power-hitting. Last season he scored 125 runs with a strike rate of 183.
