Lucknow Super Giants and Punjab Kings will be playing off in the 13th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Lucknow’s Ekana Cricket Stadium is set to host the game on April 1, 2025, at 7:30 PM (IST).

Punjab Kings only played one match, which they won by 11 runs over Gujarat Titans. Shreyas Iyer was named Player of the Match after an undefeated 97-run innings.

Priyansh Arya, the young opener, started the inning aggressively and only missed his half-century by three runs, while Shashank Singh in the middle order produced a quickfire 44-run inning in only 16 balls.

Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh could open in this match like their previous match. The young and vibrant opener, Priyansh Arya, opened the inning aggressively and just missed his half-century by three runs. 

On the other hand, only scored 5 runs in the previous match. He needs to play this match with some responsibility and give his team a good start. 

Shreyas Iyer at NO. 3.

Their new captain, Shreyas Iyer, had a magnificent inning and was named player of the match after scoring an undefeated 97 runs. He is looking forward to continuing his momentum in the next match. 

Middle Order

Azmatullah Omarzai played a decent inning in the last match; he scored 16 runs by hitting two boundaries and one over boundary. He bowled 2 overs, conceded 29 runs, and went wicketless. 

While batting, Glenn Maxwell got out on a golden duck, which was unfortunate. And while bowling, he took 1 wicket. 

Marcus Stoinis scored 20 runs in 15 balls while hitting one boundary and two over boundaries and went wicketless in bowling.

Shashank Singh has shown his power-hitting ability. He scored 44 runs in just 16 balls with a strike rate of 275. He hit 6 boundaries and 2 over boundaries. 

Suryansh Shedge did not get the chance to bat in the last match.

Arshdeep Singh was the most successful bowler from the Punjab Kings; he took 2 wickets.

Yuzvendra Chahal was expensive in the last match, conceding 34 runs in 3 overs and going wicketless.
