The Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings will square off in the 11th match of the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League, the IPL 2025 season. The game will take place on March 30, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. (IST), at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

Rajasthan Royals enters this match following two straight losses in IPL 2025. On the other side, Chennai Super Kings lost their previous match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at their home venue, which was an unexpected outcome.

Riyan Parag, the Rajasthan Royals‘ new captain, isn’t looking as dazzling as he did last season. The Royals’ bowling department appears to be in trouble as well.

Opening Pair

Yashasvi Jaiswal and ex-captain Sanju Samson will come for the opening. After a bad start with his bat in the first match, Yashasvi Jaiswal played a decent inning in the second match against KKR. He scored 29 runs in 24 balls with a strike rate of 120 while hitting 2 boundaries and 2 over boundaries.
On the other hand, scored 66 runs in the first match after coming as an impact player but in the second match, he only scored 13 runs.

Riyan Parag at NO. 3

New captain Riyan Parag New captain Riyan Parag failed to deliver a good batting performance. In the first match, he scored only 4 runs and in the second match, he scored 25 runs in 15 balls while hitting 3 sixes.

Middle Order

Nitish Rana failed to impress in both matches. He scored 11 runs in the first match and in the second match he scored just 8 runs. He needs to play with more responsibility in the upcoming matches.

Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga played his first match against KKR. With the bat, he scored only 4 runs and with the ball, he took 1 wicket after conceding 34 runs in 3 overs.

Wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel is the consistent batter for Rajasthan Royals. He played a good cameo of 70 runs in just 35 balls innings with a strike rate of 200 in the first match, and in the second match, he played a decent 33 runs in 28 balls innings.

Shimron Hetmyer displayed his aggressive batting skills in the first match, scoring 42 runs in just 23 balls with a strike rate of 182 and in the second match he scored only 7 runs.

Bowlers

Jofra Archer is their main pacer but he is not performing well. He has failed to take a wicket till now and he is their most expensive bowler by the economy rate.

Maheesh Theekshana might be a crucial bowler for the Rajasthan Royals. He is one of the excellent aspects of RR’s bowling crew. He was wicketless in the previous match, but he claimed two crucial wickets against SRH.

Tushar Deshpande took 3 wickets in the first match but in the second match, he bowled only one over and did not take any wickets.

Sandeep Sharma is not impressive till now. He took one wicket in the first match and in the second match against KKR he was wicketless.

Impact Player

Shubham Dubey could come as an impact player; he showcased his batting ability in the first match against SRH, scoring 34 runs in just 11 balls with a strike rate of 309.
