The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 features a Sunday special doubleheader, with the opening match between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday, March 30. The match will take place at Visakhapatnam’s Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium at 3:30 p.m. Indian Standard Time (IST).

Delhi Capitals are in huge confidence after winning their thrilling match against Lucknow Super Giants in the last over. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad is coming after losing their last match against Lucknow Super Giants.

Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered their first home defeat in a long time, losing two wickets for 15 runs. Nonetheless, they scored 190 runs, demonstrating their impressive batting depth.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad have had some concerns about their bowling performance. In the first, the SRH bowlers surrendered 242 runs while defending 286 runs, followed by 193 runs in 16.1 overs.

Ishan Kishan, after scoring his maiden IPL century in the first match against Rajasthan Royals, got a golden duck in the second match.

Middle Order

Nitish Kumar Reddy played a good inning in the previous match. He anchored the innings of SRH while scoring 32 runs in 28 balls.

Heinrich Klaasen showed his aggressive and power-hitting in the previous match. He scored 26 runs in 17 balls with a strike rate of 152, hitting two boundaries and one over boundary.

Aniket Verma showed tremendous power-hitting in the last match. He scored 36 runs in 13 balls and hit five over boundaries.

Abhinav Manohar failed to showcase his ability in this match as well as the last match against Rajasthan Royals.

Bowlers

Captain Pat Cummins scored 18 runs with his bat while hitting three over boundaries. And with the ball, he took 2 wickets in 3 overs while conceding 29 runs.

Simarjeet Singh bowled really well in their first match but in the last match, he was not impressive. He bowled 2 overs and conceded 28 runs.

Harshal Patel also went expensive with an economy of 14, but he took one wicket in 2 overs while conceding 28 runs.

Mohammed Shami bowled 3 overs, conceded 37 runs, and took one wicket in the last match.

Impact Player

Adam Zampa could be the impact player. He came in as an impact player for the last two matches. In the last match, he was the only bowler to complete his 4 overs and conceded 46 runs and took 1 wicket.
