The Indian men’s cricket team is set to embark on an exciting tour of Bangladesh in August 2025, featuring a series of three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). This tour is an important event for both teams as they prepare for the upcoming Asia Cup, offering them the opportunity to refine their strategies and player combinations.

The tour will kick off with the ODI series, commencing on 17 August 2025 at the renowned Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. This venue is set to host the first two matches of the series, with the second ODI scheduled for 20 August 2025 at the same location. The final ODI will then take place at the scenic Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium in Chattogram. Following the ODIs, the T20I series is slated to begin on 26 August 2025, starting in Chattogram. The series will then move to Mirpur, hosting the last two matches on 29 and 31 August 2025 respectively. Bangladesh Cricket Board’s chief executive, Nizam Uddin Chowdhury, has expressed his enthusiasm about hosting India, acknowledging India’s role in setting high standards in international cricket across all formats. In recent encounters between the two sides, India emerged victorious in their last T20I series against Bangladesh in 2024 with a decisive 3-0 win. Conversely, Bangladesh had the upper hand in their most recent ODI series in 2022, securing a 2-1 series victory. As both teams prepare to face off in August, the upcoming matches promise to be a thrilling contest with both sides having tasted success against each other in the past.
