IPL 2025: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Schedule and Match Timings, Home and Away

The schedule for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League has been officially released by the BCCI on Sunday. The five-time champions, Chennai Super Kings will take on Mumbai Indians in their tournament campaign at MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday, 23rd, March.
Chennai Super Kings retained Ruturaj Gaikwad, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube and Matheesha Pathirana ahead of the season. In the mega auction of IPL 2025, CSK made their first move by roping the New Zealand cricketer Devon Conway for a sum of INR 6.25 crore.
They made the highest bid on the first day of auction for Ravichandran Ashwin who is coming back to the side after several years. The Ruturaj-led side had to sign the veteran off-spinner for a whopping price of INR 9.75 crore.
However, one of the smart buys in the auction, Rachin Ravindra is likely to miss the IPL due to eye injury in an ODI match against Pakistan. The replacement for the Kiwi cricketer is yet to be confirmed by the side.
Chennai Super Kings Schedule for IPL 2025
The Ruturaj Gaikwad led side will play their opening match of the season at home against the other most successful team in the league, Mumbai Indians in an IPL El-Clasico on 23rd March. It will be CSK who host the match at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The return leg of this match will be played on 20th April at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai this time. They will continue to play at home in their 2nd match of the season as they host Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 28, the return leg of this match will be played on 3rd May.
CSK will travel to Kolkata to play the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on May 7 to be played at the iconic Eden Gardens, the venue for IPL 2025 Final later this season. The Ruturaj Gaikwad led side will finish the league phase away from home against the side they beat in the IPL 2023 final, the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 18.
