The 2025 Indian Premier League (also known as IPL 18 and branded as TATA IPL 2025) will be the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League. India’s biggest cricket festival is all about to knock around and is scheduled to start from 22 March and will go on until 25 May 2025.

This edition is gonna be as exciting as it could be, as all the teams have been built from scratch with only the best of their leads with them. IPL Mega Auction which happened last year in the November has helped teams pick their best choices and lets see what these choices gonna bring up for the franchises ahead of the exciting festival of Indian Cricket.

Talking of the franchises, the tournament will feature a total of 10 teams from different regions of India. Each team is set to play against the others in their league stage matches and then the top four teams on the points table will move to the most exciting thriller packed matches, the playoffs stage. Qualifying which only two teams will  get a chance to fight to lift the prestigious IPL Title.

IPL 2025: Delhi Capitals Schedule and match fixtures

As per the official status of the matches Delhi Capitals (DC) will not play all their 2025 Indian Premier League at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi for a second straight season as they will begin their season with the opening two matches at Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam vs the Lucknow Super Giants and the Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 24 and 30 respectively.

The Delhi Capitals will play their first match in Delhi on April 13 vs the Mumbai Indians, the return leg of which will be played in Mumbai and will be the last league phase match of the season for the Capitals. The side’s other big match-ups vs the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be played on April 5 and April 10 in Chennai and Bengaluru respectively. The return leg against RCB will be played on April 27 in Delhi while there will be only league stage match vs CSK.
