IPL 2025 Mega Auction Confirm Date, Venue and Players List

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the IPL Governing Council have today confirmed the date and venue for the upcoming IPL 2025 Mega Auction to be held in the last week of November.

All 10 IPL franchises were alloted a deadline day till 31st October to submit the list of players each and every franchise wishes to keep hold of going into the IPL 2025 Auction.

After that, the next process in the build-up to the IPL 2025 Mega Auction includes the date and venue for the auction and the list of players who will be part of the auction.

BCCI today rolled-out the list of players who have registered for the upcoming IPL 2025 Auction and also gave the confirmation on the date and venue for the auction.

IPL 2025 Mega Auction Date and Venue

The BCCI today confirmed that the IPL 2025 Mega Auction will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the 24th and 25th November. This is likely to clash with the 1st Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test match between India and Australia which commences on 22nd November.

IPL 2025 Auction Players List

The BCCI has confirmed that a total of 1,574 players have registered for the IPL 2025 Mega Auction after the registration date ended on 4th November.

A total of 48 capped Indian players are set to be part of the Mega Auction that includes the likes of Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul etc. There are also a total of 965 uncapped Indian players who have registered for the auction, out of which, 152 players have previously played in the IPL.

409 overseas players have also registered for the auction which includes 272 capped and 104 uncapped overseas players. South Africa sees 91 players register for the auction, highest number of overseas players registered from a country. Australia is closely followed with 76 players and England have 52 players registered for the auction.

4 players from Canada, 10 from the United States of America (USA), 12 from Netherlands, 9 from Ireland, 2 from Scotland and 1 each from Italy and UAE have registered among the associate nations. .
