Amid all that, Ravichandran Ashwin is linked with a return back to MS Dhoni‘s Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Mohammed Shami has been for a long time holding the fort for the Indian cricket team alongside Jasprit Bumrah. Shami had an interesting IPL career so far. He began his journey with his home team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2013. He spent four years at Delhi Capitals (then known as Delhi Daredevils) between 2014 and 2018.
The 34-years-old also played for the Punjab Kings between 2019 and 2021 before he finally joined the new boys in the league and his current team Gujarat Titans in 2022.
