IPL officially known as the Indian Premier League is coming with its brand new 18th edition. Scheduled to begin on March 22 and conclude on May 25, this edition promises to be an exciting and exhilarating ride for fans all around the globe. IPL isn’t just a home League to fans, it’s a celebration of emotion and a festival to them.

Organised by the Board of control for Cricket in India (BCCI), this high-intensity T20 tournament will see 10 teams competing fiercely in a group stage followed by the playoffs. With a total of 74 matches lined up, fans can expect non-stop cricketing action as teams vie for the prestigious IPL trophy. 

Featuring 10 teams across India, the tournament will see each team first face off in the league stage matches and then upon conclusion will move to the Playoffs. Winner of the playoffs matches will be fighting for win the ultimate title battle for the upcoming IPL 2025 Season.

IPL 2025: Mumbai Indians Schedule and match fixtures

It will be the el-clasico to start the season for the Mumbai Indians as two 5-times champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) faces-off on the 2nd day of the new season, on 23rd March 2025. It will be CSK who will host this match while the return leg in Mumbai will be played on April 20.

The other big match against Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be played on 7th April in Mumbai. This will be the only league phase match between the two teams. The Hardik Pandya led side will finish the league phase with a home match against the Delhi Capitals on May 15th at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
