IPL 2025: Mumbai Indians Probable List of Retained Players Ahead of Mega Auction
The craze for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Mega Auction likely to be held later this year is very high. The fans of each and every IPL teams are already discussing potential player retention for their team ahead of the Mega Auction, where only a certain limited players will be allowed to be retained.
The Indian Premier League 2024 season ended most recently with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) winning their 3rd title. However, just after 2 months of the IPL 2024 Final, the focus has now shifted to IPL 2025 and the upcoming Mega Auction.

Alongside Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah is currently world’s best bowler, be it the T20I format or the longer format of the game. Jasprit Bumrah was picked by the Mumbai Indians as a raw talent from the Indian domestic scenes. Bumrah has grown over the years and established himself as one of the world’s best bowler who has been leading the bowling unit for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Tilak Varma
Tilak Varma made his IPL debut in 2022 and stunned everyone after scoring 397 runs in 14 matches in his debut season. Since then, he has gone on to score 343 runs in 11 matches and 416 runs in 13 matches in the IPL 2023 and 2024 season respectively. As a result, Tilak has also played for Team India and Mumbai Indians see a big future in him as a middle-order batter and would not want to let go of him.
Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan might be sold at a very high price in the Mega Auction if he is released into the mega auction since almost every team is searching for a quality Indian wicketkeeper batter, thus, it will be a sensible decision from Mumbai Indians to retain Ishan Kishan.
