IPL 2025: Punjab Kings vs Mumbai Indians Match’s Venue Relocated

The IPL 2025 league match between the Mumbai Indians and the Punjab Kings has been moved to Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad from the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.
The location was relocated after the Indian army successfully carried out , which attacked nine terror construction in both Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The match, which was to be played at the venue, has now been changed after the Indian army’s success.
Punjab Kings would probably come to Delhi by road, and then from Delhi, they will fly to Ahmedabad since most of the airports of North India are closed until May 10 due to Operation Sindoor.

Interestingly, Punjab Kings will face Delhi Capitals in the game to be played on Thursday, May 8 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium (HPCA). But both teams have already arrived in the city and hence there won’t be any issue with travel plans.
Previously, BCCI sources, as reported by media reports, had said that there won’t be any alteration in the schedule of the Indian Premier League following the Operation Sindoor.
Both sides are well placed to make it to the playoffs. PBKS are placed third in the points table with seven wins out of 11 games and a net run rate of +0.376. MI, meanwhile, are placed fourth in the points table with seven wins as well after playing 12 matches and a net run rate of +1.156.
PBKS are looking for their first-ever IPL title under the command of Shreyas Iyer, while Mumbai Indians are fighting to grab their sixth title in the history of the tournament under the captainship of Hardik Pandya.
