As per various news reports, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season is set to resume from May 16, Friday, just a week after the suspension of the league.

The delay in the resumption of the IPL 2025 is likely to have been caused by various logistics, players rejoining their teams as the foreign players have returned to their country, while Indian players have returned home. Most of the teams are likely to assemble by Tuesday.

CricTips will continue to monitor the situation and add latest updated IPL 2025 restart date once it is officially revealed by the BCCI sources or IPL officials.
