The three-time champion built a balanced and amazing squad with good Indian and foreign players. They retained their two most reliable foreigners, Sunil Narine and Andre Russell, in the IPL 2025 auction.

Sunil Narine

Sunil has a key contribution to KKR’s three titles. His contribution with bat and ball is the main reason that he played for this team for twelve years.

Not just in IPL but Narine played all over the world and brought lots of experience and leadership to the team. His T20 career is amazing; he played a total of 534 matches, took 573 wickets, and scored 4342 runs with his bat.

Spencer Johnson will be the leading bowling option for the Kolkata Knight Riders if South African speedster Anrich Nortje is unavailable due to his injury. 29-year-old Australian pacer was part of Gujrat Titan for the last season but he doesn’t get much chance in his team.

He has good experience in other T20 leagues as well; that’s why KKR management brought him for Rs. 2.80 crore. Last season he played a total of 5 matches for GT, where he managed to take 4 wickets.
