The IPL 2025 season promises to be exciting, and the Rajasthan Royals () are gearing up for a strong start. This year’s IPL auction was also a success for the Fanchies, as they recruited a strong and balanced roster for IPL 2025.
The 2008 season champion built a balanced and amazing squad with a mixture of good Indian and foreign players. Let’s take a look at the four overseas players expected to play a key role for RR in IPL 2025. Shimron Hetmyer
The West Indies middle-order batter is famous for his power-hitting and strokeplay. He was one of the reliable players for the Rajasthan Royals in the last few seasons. He can increase the run rate in the middle over. Based on his last few performances, Rajasthan Royals management retained him for Rs. 11 crore.
He is a well-proven player, not just in the IPL but also has vast experience in other T20 leagues. His T20 career also showcases amazing stats. He played a total of 252 matches in T20 and scored a total of 4807 runs, 135 strike rate, 23 half-centuries, and 1 century, also a part of his tally.

Wanindu Hasaranga
Sri Lanka Allrounder will be a key player for RR in the upcoming IPL season. He is known for his lower-middle-order batting and aggressive leg-break bowling. He has experience playing in the IPL and other T20 leagues; that’s the reason Rajasthan Royals management spent 5.25 crore on him. Hasaranga can play a vital role in the team with an all-round performance.
Hasaranga’s stats also reflect his capability; in his T20 career, he played a total of 210 matches where he scored 2335 runs and took 304 wickets. He will be a key player for Rajasthan in the upcoming season.

He has vast experience in playing IPL along with other top T20 leagues. His T20 career is also amazing; in 181 matches he took 191 wickets with an economy of 6.67.

Jofra Archer
