The report states that the new Lucknow Super Giants mentor Zaheer Khan, coach Justin Langer and LSG management feels that Rahul’s intent and lower strike rate has been major cause for concern for the team and resulted in many losses where their captain played longer in the inning.
“The LSG management, including mentor Zaheer Khan and coach Justin Langer, has analysed his stats and it has emerged that the team has almost lost all matches where KL has batted long and scored runs,” a source said to the Times of India on this topic.
