LSG’s Mayank Yadav Set to Make Return vs MI

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pace bowler Mayank Yadav is looking like all set to make his IPL 2025 return during LSG’s match against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday afternoon.
India’s one of the most talented and rising pace bowler Mayank Yadav missed half of the IPL 2025 season for the Lucknow Super Giants as he was recovering from an injury. LSG have already played 9 matches without the pace bowler, winning 5 games and losing 4.
Mayank had joined the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) camp few days after receiving the medical clearance from the BCCI but he was rested in the last 2 games. But it is believed that the pace bowler is set to make his return vs MI.
The rumours intensified further after Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) posted a video of Mayank Yadav on their social media handles with caption, “Kal dikhega tabadtod andaz,” clearly indicating that Mayank is set to feature in Sunday’s clash.
Mayank Yadav shot to fame in IPL 2024
The Lucknow Super Giants pace bowler Mayank Yadav shot to fame last season in the IPL 2024 edition. He earned quite a lot of praise from the fans, cricket experts for ability to bowl at more than 150 KMPH speed.
In his debut season last year, Mayank Yadav picked 7 wickets in 4 matches, that includes 3 wickets each in his first 2 matches against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). After his promising performance, Lucknow Super Giants retained the pacer for 11 crore.
