In a captivating IPL match on Saturday, Lucknow Super Giants achieved a thrilling victory over Gujarat Titans by six wickets. This win marks Lucknow’s third consecutive victory in the tournament, propelling them to third place in the 10-team league table.

Lucknow’s successful chase of a 181-run target was spearheaded by opener Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran, both of whom struck impressive half-centuries. The match unfolded on a sluggish pitch at the Ekana Stadium, posing challenges for both teams. Pooran’s outstanding performance was crucial as he hit a formidable 61 runs, effectively halting Gujarat’s four-match winning streak.

Markram, who stepped in for Mitchell Marsh due to personal reasons, showcased notable performances alongside Rishabh Pant and Pooran. The former shared a 65-run partnership with Markram, while Pooran later contributed to a 58-run partnership with Markram.
