Mosaddek Hossain, the skipper of Abahani Limited, has become a significant figure in Bangladesh cricket after leading his team to victory in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) 2024-25. Abahani Limited clinched their record 24th league title, owing largely to Mosaddek’s exceptional all-round contribution. In the tournament, he emerged as the joint-highest wicket-taker with 30 wickets. Additionally, Mosaddek scored 487 runs, further underscoring his prowess on the field.

Following the league triumph, Mosaddek has set his sights on the upcoming Bangladesh ‘A’ team’s series against New Zealand.
