MS Dhoni Have Interesting Chat with Sanjiv Goenka After Famous Captaincy Sacking

After guiding the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to victory against his team Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), CSK captain MS Dhoni was seen having a chat with LSG team owner Sanjiv Goenka at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
Both the individuals’ relationship is believed to be not very positive especially after what happened in the IPL 2016 edition.
With the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) banned, the IPL introduced two new teams, the Rising Rising Pune Supergiant and the Gujarat Lions. Now LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka was the owner of the Rising Pune Supergiant and brought in then CSK captain MS Dhoni as the captain.
However it was a very bad first season for the Rising Pune Supergiant who finished 2nd to bottom in the IPL 2016 points table. As a result, ahead of the 2017 season, the Pune team decided to sack Dhoni from captaincy and appointed Steve Smith as the captain.

Since then it is believed that both individual do not share a good relationship. However, the two squashed all of the rumours when CSK captain MS Dhoni was seen having a chat with LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka at the Ekana Cricket Stadium after MS Dhoni’s match winning 26 runs inning.

Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings got a much needed win in their previous match against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Monday, April 14.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lost 5 matches in a row prior to this match and only one win. A win was much needed for the side to stay in the race for the playoffs. And captain MS Dhoni stepped-up big. Chasing a target of 167, when CSK’s middle-order struggled badly, MS Dhoni played a crucial innings of 26 runs off 11 balls.
Alongwith MS Dhoni, Shivam Dube played a key role as CSK won by 5 wickets, only their 2nd win of the campaign.
Earlier, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) had scored 166 runs thanks to a valiant effort from captain Rishabh Pant who scored 63 runs after their top 3 trio of Mitchell Marsh, Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran all failed in this match-up.
