The No-Ball Controversy That Angered MS Dhoni

In a high-stakes moment against RR, where CSK needed 8 runs in just 3 balls, Rajasthan Royals’ all-rounder Ben Stokes bowled a delivery that looked like a no-ball. initially signaled as a no-ball by the square-leg umpire, but suddenly the umpire changed his decision after a discussion among the umpires.

This decision by the umpire made fans angry and even Captain Cool lost his calmness in this moment. Then the most smoking part of the match was when MS Dhoni entered the field to discuss with the umpire. The incident shocked fans, as it was one of the rare instances where Dhoni openly expressed frustration on the field.

Dhoni Admits It Was a ‘Bad Move’

At a recent event, Bollywood actress Mandira Bedi asked Dhoni if he had ever lost his cool on the field. In response, Dhoni candidly admitted:

“Yeah, many times. It happened once during an IPL game. I just walked right onto the field. That was a really bad move.”

He further added:

“But there have been other times, too, when I’ve gotten worked up because we’re playing a sport where you have to win every single game.”
