Navjot Singh Sidhu Indirectly Calls MS Dhoni and Ambati Rayudu “Girgit” on Live TV

Former Indian cricketers Ambati Rayudu and Navjot Singh Sidhu’s heated argument on live TV during Punjab Kings vs Chennai Super Kings match has caused penalty of debate on social media where the latter called Rayudu and MS Dhoni “Girgit”.
Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu was seen getting to argument few days back with Sanjay Bangar. And he has entangled himself into another controversy that has caused penalty of spark on social media.
It was during the Punjab Kings vs Chennai Super Kings match that Rayudu accused Navjot Singh Sidhu about the team, indirectly calling him a “Girgit” (Chameleon).
But former Indian batsman Navjot Singh Sidhu didn’t hold back. He fired back at Ambati Rayudu, calling him and his Aradhyadev “Girgit”.
In a viral video on social media platforms like X and Instagram, Navjot Singh Sidhu responded to Rayudu saying, “Is sansar me girgit ki tarah koi hai to tumhare aradhyadev hai (if there’s someone in this world who is like chameleon, it is your idol).”
Sidhu here indirectly called MS Dhoni a “Girgit” as well as assumed by the fans on social media. Aradhyadev is a Sanskrit word which means idol and MS Dhoni is one of Rayudu’s biggest idol to fans already assumed that Sidhu has indirectly fired at former CSK captain. Watch the video below.
Chennai Super Kings lose 4 in a row
Meanwhile, Punjab Kings beat the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 18 runs in the 2nd match of the Day on April 8, Tuesday. That means that the Chennai Super Kings have lost 4 matches in a row despite starting the season with a win over the arch-rivals Mumbai Indians.
CSK bowlers did well to reduce Punjab Kings to 5 wickets for 83 runs. However, young opening batter Priyansh Arya scored a magnificent 103 runs off 42 balls that included 7 fours and 9 sixes. Lower down the order, the duo of Shashank Singh and Marco Jansen scored 52 and 34 runs respectively that eventually saw Punjab post 219 runs on the board.
Later, despite a strong start between Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway, adding 61 runs partnership for the opening wicket, they lost two quick wickets of Ravindra and Gaikwad for just 1 run between the two wickets. Although Shivam Dube scored 42 runs off 27 balls, but once he got out, the required run rate started to go up as CSK found it difficult to hit boundaries.
Devon Conway who had scored 69 runs off 49 balls was retired out as he was unable to score the big runs, MS Dhoni scored 27 runs off 12 balls, but eventually CSK lost the match by 18 runs. This means they have now lost 4 matches in a row and the next one becomes a must win to stay in the playoffs race. They take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 11.
