Bangladeshi cricketer Rishad Hossain has made a shocking revelation regarding the situation of all the foreign players in the PSL 2025 during the India-Pakistan tensions.

Amid the ongoing tensions between the neighbouring nations India and Pakistan, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 has been postponed for the foreseeable future.

Initially, the tournament was set to move to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to conduct its remaining matches; hence, all the players were flown to the UAE. However, after the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) rejected hosting the PSL 2025, all the players have returned home for the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, Bangladeshi cricketer Rishad Hossain, who played for the Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2025, has made a big revelation about the player’s situation when drones were fired in Pakistan.

Upon landing in Dubai, Rishad Hossain told a reporter at Dubai Airport how frightened some of the overseas players were.

Foreign players like Sam Billings, Daryl Mitchell, Kushal Perera, David Wiese, Tom Curran… all of them were so frightened… Landing in Dubai, Mitchell told me that he would never go to Pakistan again, especially in this kind of scenario. Overall, they were all horrified,” said the Bangladesh cricketer.

Tom Curran started crying: Rishad Hossain

Hossain also added that English cricketer Tom Curran started to cry after learning that the airport had been closed when the situation got worse between the two sides.

He (Tom Curran) went to the airport, but heard that the airport was closed. Then he started crying like a little child, that it took two or three people to handle him,” he added.

The PSL 2025 season was suspended after the match 26 of 34. It was the Quetta Gladiators who beat Islamabad United by 109 runs on May 7, Wednesday. The Gladiators currently sits at the top of the PSL 2025 points table with 6 wins and 2 losses. Karachi Kings, Islamabad United and the Lahore Qalandars are the closest rivals to Quetta.
