Former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain and batter Nitish Rana recently came out in support of Gautam Gambhir after former KKR player Manoj Tiwary criticised the Indian cricket team head coach.

Former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman Manoj Tiwary in a recent interview criticised the current Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir. Tiwary called Gambhir “Hypocrite” and even said that Gambhir took all the credits for KKR’s IPL Trophy win in 2012, 2014 as captain and 2024 as mentor.

Answering back all criticism towards the former India international, now a former KKR player Nitish Rana recently took to his official X handle to speak in support of Gautam Gambhir.

Nitish Rana posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, “Criticism should be based on facts not personal insecurities. Gauti bhaiyya is one of the most selfless players I’ve ever met. He shoulders responsibility in times of distress like no other. Performance doesn’t need any PR. The trophies speak for themselves.”

Other than Nitish Rana, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) pacer Harshit Rana also recently posted about the same on his official Instagram account.
