Rajasthan Royals, who are out of the playoff race of IPL 2025, have announced the second injury replacement today. The franchise has signed Nandre Burger as an injury replacement for Sandeep Sharma for the remainder of the IPL 2025. The IPL released a media advisory on Thursday to confirm the South African pacer picked by Rajasthan as an injury replacement for Sandeep Sharma.
“Rajasthan Royals picked Nandre Burger as an injury replacement for Sandeep Sharma for the remainder of the IPL 2025,” the IPL said in a media advisory.

Sandeep Sharma’s finger injury caused him to be ruled out of IPL 2025. He performed averagely in the IPL 2025. Sandeep played 10 matches for RR this season and scalped 9 wickets. Overall, he played 136 matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and took 146 wickets with an average of 27.87.
