Recently, a new squad member of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Jitesh Sharma, revealed interesting facts about the RCB game plan and his views on Virat Kohli during a podcast with CricXtasty. He also made new revelations about many essential things. When the podcast host asked him about playing with Virat Kohli, Jitesh said, “I’m very excited to play with because he is also one of the main reasons India won the ICC 2024 T20 World Cup. And that six he hit against Pakistan in Australia is still in my mind. And I have a dream that in the IPL, there should be a similar moment—a six like that, right in front of my eyes.” He also mentioned that he wants to win the IPL 2025 with RCB and wants to dedicate it to Virat Kohli.

Jitesh also talked about the help he got from Virat Kohli in the form of batting tips. Regarding Virat Kohli not winning the IPL yet, Jitesh said, “If a person who dedicates so many years to cricket or anything deserves something in return. He has given his life to this franchise. From both a human’s and a cricketer’s perspective, a player who has played for one franchise for so many years deserves at least one trophy. Maybe God had different plans before, but I really want him to lift the IPL Trophy once with me for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.”

Jitesh also said that Virat carried the team alone for years. But sometimes things just do not go their way. But he will pray that this time, everything aligns for him. And we keep winning and lifting the trophy.

Jitesh Sharma has performed brilliantly well in the last few years for the Punjab Kings. On many occasions, he has given his excellent performance and helped his team win the match. After which he also made his T20 debut for Team India last year. Royal Challengers Bengaluru signed him in the IPL 2025 auction for 11 CR. RCB is the second IPL franchise to have Jitesh Sharma on their team after the Punjab Kings. Moreover, Royal Challengers Bengaluru will start their IPL 2025 campaign with the opening match. They will play against the Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Garden on 22 March.

Last season, RCB made it to the playoffs by performing brilliantly in the last 6 matches of the league stage. However, they lost the eliminator match against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024. But they definitely want to win the title in the upcoming season of the IPL.
