RCB’s Trio failed in the first T20 match of the India vs. England T20 2025 series at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. India won the toss and chose to bowl first in the first T20 match. 

RCB’s fans want to see how the team’s players will perform in Indian conditions, but RCB’s batters have only disappointed the fans. Phil Salt got out for a duck in the first over of the innings, and Arshdeep Singh took his wickets. Big hitter Liam Livingstone also disappointed fans; he too got out for a duck. Varun Chakravarthy trapped him in his mystery spin bowling.

Eden Gardens is the home ground of the Kolkata Knight Riders, where they always dominate against RCB. Royal Challengers Bengaluru also had some bad memories with KKR at Eden Gardens as they made their lowest total at this ground against KKR.

In 2017, the Kolkata Knight Riders scored 131 runs in the first inning of the 27th match. Fans expect an easy win for RCB, but they collapse badly. And got all out on just 49 runs. Overall, KKR won 21 matches against RCB out of 35. This clearly shows that KKR dominates against RCB in their head-to-head clash.
