The Royals Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have officially unveiled their jersey for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season as the franchise hopes to clinch their first ever IPL title despite being one of the team that is participating from the league’s inception.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will hit the ground running in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 campaign on the opening day of the tournament on 22nd March against the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

The side this season has seen a change in leadership role as former captain Faf du Plessis has left the team while Virat Kohli has declined to take the opportunity, hence, it will be Rajat Patidar who will be leading the team in the IPL 2025 season.

Meanwhile, before they begin their campaign on the 22nd March, the side has officially its attire for the new season. Last season, RCB had a combination of blue and red but this season they have reverted back to the black and red colour combination in their jersey.

RCB to play IPL 2025 opener

The Rajat Patidar led Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be involved in the opening day action of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 as they will take on the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders. RCB will have KKR’s last season’s star opening batter Phil Salt likely to open the inning.

The side will continue to be on the road for their next match as well as they will be travelling to Chennai for their 2nd match of the IPL 2025 against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Their first home match will be on 2nd April vs the Gujarat Titans at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
