The 2nd T20I between India and England is currently being played at the M.A Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bowl. His decision was once again proved right by pacer Arshdeep Singh who dismissed Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bound Phil Salt for very cheap.

The Indian cricket team currently leads the 5 match T20I series vs England after registering a scintillating win in the previous match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The 2nd match of the series is being played at the M.A Chidambaram stadium in Chennai.

Just like the first match, India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bowl first. And just like the first match, left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh got a quick wicket of Phil Salt, who will be playing for RCB in IPL 2025.

Salt is one of the best batter in the shortest format of the game. He has scored 1106 runs in 39 innings for England in T20I and has multiple centuries to his name.

Although he went unsold in the IPL 2024 Auction, Salt was signed by eventual champions KKR as a injury replacement for Jason Roy. He then went on to score 435 runs with a strike rate 182.01. But, he was signed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction for whopping 11.50 crore.

However, his recent failures has created doubt among many RCB fans. See how the fans reacted after he got out for 4 runs in the 2nd T20I in Chennai.
