A viral video on social media has created buzz that there is things not right between Rajasthan Royals, their captain Sanju Samson and head coach Rahul Dravid. This came into surface Rajasthan’s super over defeat vs Delhi Capitals.

Rajasthan Royals faced off against Delhi Capitals in a thrilling contest on April 16 in Delhi which was eventually won by the hosts Delhi Capitals in the super over.

Batting first, Delhi Capitals scored 188 runs 20 overs. In reply to same, Rajasthan Royals also scored 188 runs in 20 overs. The match went into the super over where Royals scored 11 runs batting first which the Capitals chased in 3 balls to win the super over and the match.

However, the defeat against the Delhi Capitals has exposed dressing room rift between Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid and captain Sanju Samson.

In a video surfacing online, Sanju Samson was captured not attending the team discussion with head coach Rahul Dravid just prior to the super over. One of the player of the team even asks him to join the huddle, he gestures with his hand to let it go. Watch the video below.

Rajasthan Royals in free-fall in IPL 2025

Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Royals have been one of the worst team in the IPL 2025 season. They began their campaign with back-to-back defeats followed a glimpse of form with 2 wins in a row. However, since then they have been in free fall once again.

After 2 back-to-back wins against Chennai Super Kings and the Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals now lost a further 3 matches, including a super over defeat against the Delhi Capitals in Delhi.
