Shreyas Iyer’s Sister Reacts to Punjab Kings Fans Blaming Her for PBKS Loss vs RCB

Punjab Kings’ skipper Shreyas Iyer’s sister Shresta has come up with a bold statement as she slams back at insensitive trollers after the loss against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 20, Monday.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru managed to get their revenge after losing against Punjab Kings at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. After being invited to bat first by Rajat Patidar, Punjab Kings posted a decent total of 159 runs on the board.

After getting defeated by Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Shresta Iyer the sister of Shreyas Iyer received significant messages and trolls from a lot of fans on social media.
However, Shresta Iyer was quick enough to respond after the backlash as she come up with a long story on her official Instagram handle.
“It’s honestly disappointing to see people stoop so slow as to blame the family for simply showing up to support. Whether we’re physically present or cheering from afar, our support for the team is unwavering,” Shresta Iyer wrote on her Instagram story.
“To those pointing fingers at me, your shallow mindset is not only laughable, it’s embarrassing. I’ve been there for countless matches, India’s and others and most of them ended in victory. But I guess when you’re busy trolling from behind a screen, facts don’t matter,” her quote reads.
In addition to that, Shresta Iyer also stated that the backlash from the online trollers wouldn’t stop her from supporting her brother Shreyas Iyer and his side.
“I am, and always will be, a proud and positive supporter of my brother and his team. Your baseless criticism doesn’t shake me… It just shows your ignorance. Win or lose I’ll be right there supporting them, because that’s what real support looks like.”
“Today just wasn’t their day. But losses are a part of the game, something you’d know if you had ever done more than type out hate online. So next time, think twice before coming for someone who’s actually doing what you can’t… showing up,” she added.
