South Africa Dominates Day 2 Against Pakistan in 2nd Test

South Africa has taken a commanding position in the second Test against Pakistan as they ended their first innings with an imposing total of 615 all out. Ryan Rickelton led the effort with an extraordinary individual score, marking his innings as one of the highlights of South Africa’s batting performance at Newlands.
Ryan Rickelton was the star performer for South Africa, scoring a remarkable 259 runs off 266 balls. His innings was laced with 29 fours and three sixes, solidifying his position with the joint seventh highest score by a South African in Test cricket. Rickelton occupied the crease for 607 minutes and faced 343 balls, anchoring the South African innings almost single-handedly.
The South African innings was further bolstered by key contributions from Kyle Verreynne, who made a century with 100 runs, and Marco Jansen, adding a valuable 62 runs. Their partnerships played a crucial role in building a formidable total for South Africa.
On the other side, Pakistan finds themselves struggling, having ended Day 2 with a score of 42/3 in 15.2 overs.
