SRH’s Predicted Playing XI for IPL 2025

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is aiming to secure the IPL 2025 title after finishing as runners-up in IPL 2024. With Pat Cummins at the helm as captain, the team is set to make strategic changes and tap into new talent for a stronger presence this season.

SRH reached the finals in IPL 2024 but lost to Kolkata Knight Riders. Despite the setback, the team continues to show confidence in its lineup. Captain Pat Cummins, who led SRH to the finals last year, remains a pivotal figure in the team for the upcoming season.

In the opening department, Travis Head will continue his role after a successful run in IPL 2024. He will be joined by Abhishek Sharma, who also dazzled with match-winning performances as an opener last season. The pair is expected to set a solid foundation for the batting lineup.

At number 3, Ishan Kishan, acquired for Rs. 11.40 crore in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction, is likely to strengthen the top order. His addition is anticipated to bring dynamism and stability to the team’s batting.

Nitish Kumar Reddy, the standout player for SRH in IPL 2024, will bat at No. 4, followed by Heinrich Klaasen at No. 5, both crucial for maintaining the momentum in the middle overs. Atharva Taide is expected to occupy the No. 6 position, bringing his impressive skillset from the Punjab Kings to SRH.

In the lower order, Abhinav Manohar is set to take the role of finisher, with his reputation for hitting big sixes giving a strong edge to the SRH’s closing stages of the innings.

On the bowling front, SRH has fortified its pace attack by signing Harshal Patel for Rs. 8 crore and Mohammed Shami for Rs. 10 crore. These acquisitions are poised to enhance the team’s bowling strategy significantly. Additionally, Rahul Chahar will play a key role as a leg-spinner, ensuring that SRH has versatility in its bowling arsenal.

Furthermore, Adam Zampa, known for his tactical bowling, is likely to be utilized as an Impact Player, adding depth and flexibility to the bowling lineup.

With this well-rounded team composition, SRH is gearing up to not only compete but to excel in IPL 2025 by aiming for the championship title.
