Suryakumar Yadav, a Mumbai Indians (MI) cricketer in the Indian Premier League (IPL), was recently seen visiting the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya with his wife, Devisha Shetty. The couple’s visit took place ahead of MI’s upcoming match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) scheduled for April 4, 2025. Suryakumar shared this experience with his followers through a social media post on April 3.

At 34 years old, Suryakumar Yadav is a veteran in the IPL scene. Having debuted with Mumbai Indians back in the 2012 season, he returned to the team in 2018 after a stint with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Suryakumar has achieved significant personal milestones, playing 153 IPL matches and scoring 3698 runs with an average of 32.43, including two centuries and twenty-four fifties. With 3137 runs in 101 matches for MI, he is the team’s third-highest run-scorer, following Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard.

Recently, Mumbai Indians secured a convincing victory against Kolkata Knight Riders, defeating them by eight wickets. KKR was bowled out for 116 runs in 16.2 overs, and MI comfortably chased down the target with 43 balls to spare. Ashwani Kumar, making his debut for MI, impressed by taking four wickets in the match. Suryakumar Yadav also contributed to the win by scoring an unbeaten 27 off nine balls, while Ryan Rickelton remained not out with a score of 62 off 41 balls.

As the IPL season progresses, both MI and LSG have won one of their three matches. Consequently, they stand close to each other on the points table, with MI in fifth position and LSG in sixth. The upcoming match between these two teams promises to be crucial for both, as they aim to climb higher in the standings.
