The Afghanistan cricket team registered a historic win against Australia in the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024. Afghanistan beat Australia by 21 runs to open up all the cards for the Group as the race for the semi-final hots-up.
Afghanistan and Australia faced off just about 6 months after their fantabulous class in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India. Batting first, Afghanistan scored 148 runs on a difficult batting condition.
