IND vs NZ Test Series 2024: Indian National Team Full Squad

India’s cricket team will play a home Test series against New Zealand starting October 16th, which is part of the World Test Championship. Unfortunately, Mohammed Shami hasn’t recovered in time for this series, India’s last red-ball cricket action before they play a five-Test series in Australia later this year. Yash Dayal, who was called up for his first test during the Bangladesh series, has also not been named on the squad. Check out IND vs NZ test series 2024: Indian National Team Full Squad.
Jasprit Bumrah has been appointed vice-captain for the three Tests against New Zealand. India did not have a designated vice-captain in their recent Test series against Bangladesh, but Bumrah has previously held this role. He was the vice-captain during a two-Test series at home against Sri Lanka in March 2022, a two-Test series in South Africa in 2023-24, and a five-Test series earlier this year against England.
Additionally, three fast bowlers, Harshit Rana, Mayank Yadav, and Prasidh Krishna, have been selected as travelling reserves for the series, along with all-rounder Nitish Reddy. Rana and Krishna were part of the Duleep Trophy squad as well.
