TNPL 2025: Tamil Nadu Premier League Auction, Date, Time, Venue and Participating Teams
The Tamil Nadu premier league is a Men’s T20 Format Cricket league which is held annually. This year marks the Ninth edition of the tournament and fans can’t wait more for the tournament to begin.
Organized and managed by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), this league hosts a domestic T20 tournament contested by eight city-based regional franchises. Following a double round-robin format, teams first compete in the league stage, and based on their points table rankings, they advance to the playoffs.
Now, with news of the new season on air, fans couldn’t wait to see who is going in for the TNPL Auction this season. The Auction is set to take on board on 15 February 2025, where all the franchise owners will go in a head to head battle to retain their most prized and precious possessions to themselves.
TNPL 2025 Auction
Tamil Nadu Premier League is back in action starting from the Auction on 15 February 2025. Featuring a total of 8 teams, this year edition includes Salem Spartans, Dindigul Dragons, Chepauk Super Gillies, Lyca Kovai Kings, Siechem Madurai Panthers, Nellai Royal Kings, iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans, and the Trichy Grand Cholas. The auction is set to begin February 15 sharp 8:30 AM in the morning. Franchise owners will go for a rock solid team players negotiations to make their squad win the best man making it a winning squad for the new TNPL 2025 edition.
TNPL 2025 Retained Player List
The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) board has announced an official list of the players who have been retained for their respective teams ahead of the 2025 TNPL Auction. Each team has chosen a blend of experienced team members along with youthful energized young players to make a balanced squad for the upcoming season.
