UP Warriorz Women (UP-W) Team Squad & Match Schedule: WPL 2025

WPL 2025 is the third edition of the tournament which is also known as the TATA Women’s Premier League. WPL is the twenty twenty format franchise based games that battles among 5 teams. Coming after the success of past two seasons, this year’s Season starts from 14 February and will end on 15 March 2025.
Administered by the BCCI the teams will play in the double round robin format, where each team will be playing every other team twice in a home-and-away format.Once the double round-robin league concludes, the top three teams advance to the playoffs, determined by their total points.
The team leading with the highest points secures a direct spot in the final. Meanwhile, the second and third-placed teams face off in a high-stakes showdown known as the “Eliminator. After this the only two teams will go in a head to head clash in the final of the season 3 on March 15 at the grounds of Mumbai.

UP Warriorz will be Captained by Deepti Sharma this season. Having failed to qualify for the playoffs stage last year, the team is coming strong for a great attack this year. Warriors squad for 2025 is filled with an amazing batting lineup and bowling order which are perfectly balanced by the All rounders of the team.
With Alyssa Healy, Dinesh Vrinda, and Shweta Sehrawat anchoring the batting lineup, the team has a solid foundation to put up big scores. The all-rounders’ unit, featuring Deepti Sharma, Sophie Ecclestone, Tahlia McGrath, and Grace Harris, ensures depth in both departments, providing stability and firepower. Starting the first match of the 2025 season, the team will go in a head to head clash with Gujarat Giants on 16th February and then will get in another clash twice against each team. The matches for the third edition will be played on four different venues- Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Vadodara.
The tournament will follow a double round-robin format, ensuring each team faces every opponent twice in both home and away matches. The top three teams on the points table will advance to the playoffs, with the top-ranked side earning a direct spot in the final. The second and third-placed teams will battle it out in an Eliminator match, with the victor booking a ticket to the ultimate showdown.
