For context, Harshit Rana had been suspended in April and fined 100 percent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during a match between KKR and SRH. After taking Mayank Agarwal’s wicket, Rana directed a ‘flying kiss’ towards him, which was deemed inappropriate and led to his penalty.
KKR Won the IPL 2024 Final On a Dominating Note
On the night of the final, KKR’s bowlers dominated SRH, bowling them out for a mere 113 runs in less than 20 overs. This total marked SRH’s third-lowest in IPL history and the lowest ever total in an IPL final. KKR effortlessly chased the target, losing only two wickets and reaching the required runs with 10 overs to spare, securing their IPL 2024 champion title.
